DOC publishes notice of continuation of AD order on forged SS flanges
On July 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated and the US International Trade Commission (ITC) instituted sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on forged
stainless steel flanges from
India and
Taiwan.
As a result its review, on November 4, 2005, the DOC found that revocation of the antidumping duty orders on forged
stainless steel flanges imported from
India and
Taiwan would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market.
On December 7, 2005, the ITC determined that revocation of the existing antidumping duty orders on forged
stainless steel flanges imported from
India and
Taiwan would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US market.
As a result of both the ITC's decision and the Department of Commerce's affirmative findings, the DOC published notice of the continuation of the existing orders on imports of subject merchandise from
India and
Taiwan.
