DOC partially rescinds AD administrative review against pipe imported from Turkey

Concerning the antidumping duty administrative review with respect to Turkey's Borusan  Group (and affiliates, Borusan Mannesmann, Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. and Borusan Istikbal Ticaret T.A.S.) and Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A.S. (Toscelik) initiated on July 1, 2008, US Department of Commerce (US DOC), on October 10, 2008 announced its preliminarily determination that review of Toscelik should be rescinded, with effect as of the publication date. 

On May 5, 2008, the DOC published in the Federal Register the notice of the "Opportunity to Request Administrative Review" of the antidumping duty order on welded carbon steel pipe and tube from Turkey, for the period May 1, 2007, through April 30, 2008, and on May 30, 2008, the DOC received a request from Allied Tube and Conduit to review Toscelik. On July 1, 2008, DOC published the notice of initiation of this antidumping duty administrative review with respect to Toscelik.

DOC invites interested parties to request a hearing within 30 days of publication of its preliminary notice.

The case as regards the remainder of the Turkish addressees of the review will continue to be investigated.
