Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works to expand output capacities

Ukraine-based Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works, a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), plans to expand its production capacity.

At the end of 2011, Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works commissioned a longitudinal electric-welded pipe production line for carbon steel pipes with 10-76 mm diameter and also for precision stainless steel pipes. The capacity of the new unit is 1,800 mt of products per month. By the end of February, the company plans to produce 900 mt of products per month.

Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works also plans to install a coupling production line and a heat treatment line for production of high-strength pipes for the oil and gas industry.
