Dneprospetsstal’s crude steel output down 2.1% in January-August

In the January-August period this year, Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) saw a 2.1 percent yeat-on-year decrease in its crude steel production to 189,000 mt. The company's output of finished steel in the same period decreased by 2.8 percent year on year to 120,000 mt.

In August this year, the company produced 24,000 mt of crude steel and 16,000 mt of finished steel.

Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS' products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings.
