Dennen Steel breaks ground on Mississippi plant

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based steel service center Dennen Steel Corporation broke ground on a new manufacturing facility at Yellow Creek Port in Iuka, Mississippi Wednesday. Dennen will manufacture steel slit coil, precision stampings, fabricated metal parts, tolling and assemblies at the plant.

In a press release, Dennen Steel said that the project represents a $7.4 million company investment, and construction of the project was also aided by the Mississippi Development Authority, the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
