Daye Special Steel’s net profit falls 48.61 percent in Q1

Huangshi, Hubei Province-based Chinese special steel producer Daye Special Steel Co. has announced a net profit of RMB 82 million ($13.01 million) for the first quarter of the current year, down 48.61 percent year on year, with earnings per share of RMB 0.182 ($0.0289). Meanwhile, Daye Special Steel's operating revenues in the first quarter totaled RMB 2.41 billion ($382.33 million), up 6.45 percent year on year.
