Daido Steel to increase specialty steel production

Japanese steel producer Daido Steel announced plans to increase its specialty steel production by 5% in both the 2005 and 2006 fiscal years. Daido Steel officials disclosed that the capacity expansion is necessary since demand from automobile producers is strong. The capacity expansion will involve investments in certain equipment.
