CSC’s steel sales volume up 16.9 percent in July from June

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in July this year its carbon steel sales volume increased by 16.9 percent to 922,885 metric tons compared to June, accounting for 71 percent of domestic sales. During the first seven months of the current year, the company's carbon steel sales volume amounted to 5.49 million mt, accounting for 67 percent of domestic sales.
 
In July, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 23.94 billion ($737.8 million), down by 0.3 percent month on month. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 62 million ($1.91 million), decreasing by 96 percent compared to the previous month.
