CSC planning new compressor factory in China

SteelOrbis Shanghai Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) and TECO Electric & Machinery Pte Ltd are planning to build a compressor factory in Qingdao, China. The factory will have three production lines and yield 3.8 million compressors per annum. The factory is planned to commence operations in April 2007 and consume approximately 26,600 mt silicon steel sheet per annum.
