France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) has announced that the situation in French industry remained stable in November compared to October, according to a survey carried out among French business leaders, with the industrial business climate indicator unchanged in November compared to the previous month, staying at 98, a level reached in August, close to its long-term average. The industrial economic climate index had risen one percent in October compared to the previous month.

The outlook on general production, which represents business leaders' opinion on French industry as a whole, indicated a significant decline in November and remained at a lower level than the long-term average. Global order books increased slightly, while export order books remained stable, month on month. Nevertheless, both are considered lower than usual. Finally, stocks of finished products in French industry increased three percent in November from October, reaching their normal levels.
