Compañía Minera Autlán expects increase in sales and profit for Q3

Compañía Minera Autlán estimates a 10 percent increase in sales for the third quarter, and increases of 250 percent and 80 percent in operating profit and EBITDA, respectively, compared to the third quarter last year.

In presenting its earnings guidance for the third quarter of 2014 Tuesday, the Mexican company explained that financial results continue to reflect significant improvement, supported by higher sales volumes for the exports of manganese nodules and cost optimizations obtained by power generation and efficiencies in its operating units.
