Coilplus to expand North Carolina distribution and processing location

Rosemont, Illinois-based Coilplus Inc., a flat-rolled steel coil processor and service center group, plans to invest $12.7 million to double the size of its Greensboro, North Carolina facility. The announcement was made Monday by North Carolina's governor. Steel processed by Coilplus goes into the automotive, HVAC, office furniture and consumer electronics industries.

Coilplus has nine North American locations and is a subsidiary of Japan-based steel distribution and trading company Metal One Corporation, which is owned by Mitsubishi and Sojitz Corporations.
