Cogne Acciai Speciali on the way to recovery

Italian steelmaker Cogne Acciai Speciali has published its 2010 financial results, from which encouraging figures emerge and which bode well for achievement of a full recovery and a return to the company's pre-crisis performance.

In 2010, Cogne Acciai Speciali saw a turnover of €487 million, up 61.2 percent compared to 2009. In 2011 the target is €608 million. In 2010, shipments reached 156,000 mt, and this year company management wants to increase the shipment volume to 175,000 mt.

Cogne Acciai Speciali's vice president Roberto Marzorati commented, "2011 will be the year of the return to normality, while in 2012 we hope to start growing again".
