Coal inventory in Shanxi increases to 17.8 million mt

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has stated that as of June 27 overall coal inventory in China's Shanxi Province totaled 17.8 million mt, up 4.7 percent year on year and increasing by 8.5 percent compared the beginning of this year.
 
Meanwhile, in the first five months of the current year the total coal production in Shanxi reached 377 million mt, with an increase of 14.3 percent compared to the same period of last year, with this growth trend indicating a decrease of 11.9 percentage points year on year. In addition, the coal exports of the province amounted to 242 million mt in January-May this year, increasing by 4.73 percent compared to the same period last year, with this growth rate down 3.28 percentage points year on year.
