CMC receives air permit for new Oklahoma mill

Commercial Metals Company announced today that it received a new source air permit from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality in January This permit authorizes CMC, from an environmental air quality prospective, to construct a technologically advanced micro mill in Durant, Oklahoma.
  
"Receiving the air permit is an important milestone in our Durant, Oklahoma micro mill project," commented Tracy Porter, President CMC Americas. "With the permit in hand, we are now able to begin construction in preparation for installation of the mill equipment, which was placed on order late last year.  We still anticipate commissioning of the micro mill to occur during the fall of 2017."
