The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has announced that it has found that the dumping of rebar imports from China, South Korea and Turkey and the subsidizing of the said products from China have not caused injury but are threatening to cause injury to the domestic market.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, in September 2014 the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced preliminary dumping and subsidy margins in the duty investigations regarding rebar imports from China, South Korea and Turkey, ranging between 2.5 percent and 32.9 percent.

The goods subject to duty investigation currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.10.00.00 and 7214.20.00.00. The goods may also be classified under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7215.90.00.90 and 7227.90.00.90.
