CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up 1.59% in mid-May

On June 4, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in mid-May (May 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.806 million mt, up 1.59 percent compared to early May (May 1-10). 

According to the CISA's previous figures, in early May this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.7682 million mt, down 1.23 percent compared to late April (April 21-30).
