On January 22, the China and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in early January (Jan. 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.5681 million mt, up 3.47 percent compared to late December (Dec. 21-31) last year.
According to the CISA's previous figures, in late December last year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.5155 million mt, down 3.37 percent compared to mid-December (Dec. 11-20).
