CISA mills' average daily crude steel output down 3.57% in early Feb

On February 26, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in early February (February 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.6280 million mt, down 3.57 percent compared to late January (January 21-31). 

According to the CISA's previous figures, in late January this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.6881 million mt, down 0.35 percent from mid-January (January 11-20).

Meanwhile, as of February 10, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 14.917 million mt, up 1.02 percent as compared to the figure recorded on January 31.
