CISA members' average daily crude steel output up slightly in mid-June

On June 27, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in mid-June (June 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.837 million mt, up 0.2 percent compared to early June (June 1-10). 
 
According to the CISA's previous figures, in early June this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.8326 million mt, up 3.69 percent from late May (May 21-31).
 
Meanwhile, as of June 20, 2014, overall inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 15.113 million mt, up 4.0 percent as compared to the figure recorded on June 10.
