CISA: Chinese steel production increases in early July

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in early July (July 1-10) aggregate outputs in China of crude steel, pig iron and finished steel of major large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China which are members of the CISA respectively amounted to 16,574,400 mt, 16,247,700 mt and 15,713,000 mt, up 0.44 percent, 2.11 percent and 3.6 percent as compared with late June (June 21-30).
 
In early July, aggregate outputs of crude steel, pig iron and finished steel in China overall respectively amounted to 19,580,700 mt, 18,268,900 mt and 26,321,500 mt. The average daily output of crude steel in China in the given period was 1,958,100 mt.
