CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output declines in late May

According to the data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in late May this year (May 21-31) the total crude steel output of the large and medium-size Chinese steel enterprises which are members of the CISA amounted to 17.734 million mt, with an average daily crude steel output of 1.612 million mt, down 4.7 percent as compared to mid-May (May 11-20).

Meanwhile, in late May the average daily crude steel output in China overall amounted to 2.1556 million mt, with an average daily crude steel output of 1.9596 million mt, down 3.9 percent as compared to mid-May.
