Russia-based steel pipe producer ChTPZ Group has announced that its member enterprise ChTPZ Engineering presented new pipes for the oil and gas sector at the 10th Annual Russian Shelf 2015 Conference.

The conference, dedicated to the future of liquefied natural gas and shelf oil development in Russia, is being held in Moscow on March 3-4.
"ChTPZ Group currently has at its disposal the entire set of technologies, equipment, and materials necessary to contribute to construction of oil wells at shelf plates, while the company also focuses on the development of new pipes as part of its import replacement program," the company's OCTG director Vasiliy Morgunov stated.

The group can already make riser pipes and OCTGs with premium threaded joints suited for Arctic conditions. The company is also working on technology for making large-diameter casing (508 mm to 762 mm, with wall width up to 48 mm) by order of oil and gas companies operating at shelf plate deposits.
