ChTPZ posts reduced steel pipe shipments for 2012

Russia-based steel pipe producer ChTPZ Group has announced its production results for 2012.
 
For the full year of 2012, ChTPZ shipped 1.724 million mt of steel pipes to customers, representing a 4.1 percent decrease compared to 2011, including 980,000 mt of seamless pipes and 744,000 mt of welded pipes.
 
In 2012, ChTPZ's oil country tubular good (OCTG) shipment volumes increased by 20.1 percent year on year to 254,000 mt, while shipments of large diameter pipes amounted to 695,000 mt.
