Chongqing Steel posts reduced steel product output in January-April

Chinese steel producer Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel) has announced that in April this year its steel product output totaled 385,900 mt, compared to 428,400 mt in the same month last year.

Meanwhile, in the January-April period this year Chongqing Steel's aggregate output of steel products amounted to 1.63 million mt, down from
1.88 million mt in the corresponding period of 2011.
