Chongqing Steel completes hot commissioning of ladle furnace No. 2

Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Company (Chongqing Steel) has announced that it has successfully completed the hot commissioning of its lade furnace No. 2. The steelmaker expects the ladle furnace to help it boost product quality and improve product structure.
 
Construction work on the ladle furnace started in July last year, while hot commissioning commenced on February 15 this year.
