Chongqing Steel sees 30.3 percent fall in operating revenue in 2014

Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel), a subsidiary of Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., has issued its financial results for 2014, posting an operating revenue of RMB 12.245 billion, down 30.28 percent year on year. During the given year, the company recorded a net profit of RMB 51.431 million ($8.28 million), compared to a net loss of RMB 2.499 billion ($0.4 billion) in 2013.
