Chongqing Steel produces 671,695 mt of shipbuilding plate in Jan-Apr

Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron and Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel) has announced that in the first four months of the current year it produced a total of 671,695 mt of shipbuilding plate at its 2,700 mm and 4,100 mm plate production lines. The output in question accounted for 75.36 percent of the output of Chongqing Steel's plate plant in the period in question.

In the first quarter this year, Chongqing Steel had produced 499,000 mt of shipbuilding plate.
