Chongqing Steel posts strong production performance

Chinese steel producer Chongqing Steel Group has announced that its steel plate output on June 16 reached 8,945 mt, while its output of pig iron on June 17 amounted to 17,318 mt, marking a new record daily pig iron output since the relocation of the plant. During the first 18 days of June, Chongqing Steel produced 289,496 mt of pig iron.

Chongqing Steel's crude steel output totaled 18,679 mt on June 18, while its production of hot rolled steel sheet on the same date totaled 11,538 mt, constituting a new record daily output.
