Chinese steelmakers’ sales revenues down 15.76 percent in Jan-Apr

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that China's 88 large and medium-size steelmakers - all CISA members - registered aggregate sales revenues of RMB 1.027 trillion ($165.6 billion) in the January-April period of the current year, down 15.76 percent year on year, while recording an aggregate net loss of RMB 2.66 billion ($0.43 billion), up 14.54 percent compared with the net loss figure in the same period last year.
