Chinese steel producers’ sales revenues down 6.31% in January-October

In October this year, the 100 medium-size and large steel producers in China achieved aggregate sales revenues of RMB 249.904 billion ($36.22 billion), with a gross profit of RMB 2.888 billion ($0.42 billion), according to the figures released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In the January-October period of the current year, the Chinese steel producers in question recorded aggregate sales revenues of RMB 2.244323 trillion ($0.33 trillion), down 6.31 percent year on year, with a gross profit of RMB 28.666 billion ($4.15 billion).
