Chinese mills accept BHP's 19% price hike
Australian iron miner BHP Billiton announced on June 20, 2006 that it reached an agreement with the Chinese steel mills on iron ore prices for 2006 contract year. According to BHP Billiton, Chinese steelmakers accepted 19 percent price increase for lump and fine iron ore products supplied by BHP Billiton.
