According to information released by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) on October 18, China's domestic steel industry representatives can make applications to the MOC for a sunset review of antidumping (AD) measures against stainless steel cold rolled sheet originated from Japan and Korea, 60 days before the expiry of the AD measures.
The application should include detailed proof that revocation of the AD orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the Chinese industry.
If representatives of domestic industry do not make any application, the MOC itself may also initiate the sunset review of the antidumping duty against stainless steel cold rolled sheet from Japan and South Korea. The current AD measures will expire on April 8, 2011.
