Chinese AD review decision on certain sheets from Japan and S. Korea

SteelOrbis Shanghai Chinese government determined to continue imposing antidumping duties on stainless cold rolled sheets imported from Japan and S. Korea. The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) had said on April 8, 2005 that it would re-examine in the coming year whether the antidumping measures against the mentioned steel products would be extended or canceled. According to the suggestions of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the decision made by the Customs Tariff Regulation Committee under the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce announced the No. 18 bulletin that starting from April 8, 2006, antidumping duties will continue to be levied on imported Japan and S. Korea origin stainless cold rolled sheet in compliance with the No. 15 bulletin dated 2000 and announced by the Foreign Trade Economic Cooperation Department. The above mentioned product is within the range of item 72193100, 72193200, 72193300, 72l93400, 72193500, 72199000, 72202010 and 72202090. The period of implementation will be five years. The originally settled price will also remain effective.
