China’s iron ore output down 10.1 percent in January-July

In July this year, China’s outputs of iron ore and metallurgical coke amounted to 126.19 million mt and 37.567 million mt, down 7.5 percent and decreasing by 6.5 percent year on year, respectively, according to the latest data issued by China’s National Bureau of Statistics. 

In the January-July period this year, China produced 760.985 million mt of iron ore, down 10.1 percent, while it produced 263.944 million mt of coke, decreasing by 3.9 percent, both year on year.
