China’s HR narrow strip output up 8.6 percent in January-May

In May this year, China's hot rolled narrow strip output amounted to 6.049 million mt, increasing by 14.0 percent year on year, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics. In the first five months of the current year, China's hot rolled narrow strip output totaled 27.437 million mt, up 8.6 percent year on year.

In May, China's cold rolled narrow strip output amounted to 1.214 million mt, rising by 6.9 percent year on year, while in the first five months the output volume totaled 5.171 million mt, up 7.2 percent year on year.
