China’s finished steel exports up 24.7 percent in January-October

In October this year, China exported 9.02 million mt of finished steel, down 19.8 percent month on month and increasing by 5.87 percent year on year, while the finished steel export volume in the January-October period of the current year totaled 92.13 million mt, up 24.7 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on November 8.

In October this year, China exported 770,000 mt of metallurgical coke, up 100,000 mt or 14.9 percent month on month and decreasing by 6.1 percent year on year. In the January-October period this year, China’s coke exports totaled 7.56 million mt, up 15.6 percent year on year.
