China’s value-added industrial output up 9.7 percent in Jan-Nov

In November this year, China's overall value-added industrial output increased by 0.76 percent month on month and by 10.0 percent year on year, with the year-on-year growth rate in question down 0.3 percentage points compared to that recorded in October, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of the current year, China's value-added industrial output rose by 9.7 percent year on year.

Of the 41 industrial sectors in China, 39 witnessed year-on-year increases in value-added industrial output in the first 11 months of this year. In the given period, respective year-on-year increases of 7.8 percent, 9.9 percent, 20.3 percent, 10.3 percent, 12.8 percent ,11.3 percent and 6.1 percent were recorded in value-added industrial outputs in the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector, the general purpose machinery sector, the automotive sector, the railway, shipping, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing sector, the electrical equipment and machinery sector, the computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing sector and in the heat and electric power supply sector.

In November this year, 307 industrial products saw year-on-year rises in output. China's finished steel output in the given month totaled 90.32 million mt, up 10.0 percent, while the total output of 10 non-ferrous metals totaled 3.65 million mt, up 13.7 percent, both year on year. Meanwhile, in November of the current year, domestic automotive vehicle output amounted to 2.284 million vehicles, up 25.6 percent, while passenger car output totaled 1.271 million units, up 19.9 percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data issued by the National Bureau of Statistics.
