China’s steel plate imports increase by 10 percent in Q1

In March this year, China’s steel plate imports amounted to 1.07 million mt, up 160,000 mt month on month and decreasing by 0.7 percent year on year, while the steel plate import volume in the January-March period totaled 2.92 million mt, up 10 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
