China’s steel plate exports down 6.1 percent in Q1

In March this year, China’s steel plate exports amounted to 4.02 million mt, up 820,000 mt month on month and decreasing by five percent year on year, while the steel plate export volume in the January-March period totaled 11.15 million mt, down 6.1 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
