China's stainless crude steel output up 14.27 percent in 2014

In 2014, China's stainless crude steel output amounted to 21.692 million mt, increasing by 14.27 percent year on year, as announced by Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprises Association. In the given year, China imported 824,000 mt of stainless steel, up 6.32 percent, while it exported 3.85 million mt of stainless steel, up 45.12 percent, both year on year.

In 2014, China's apparent consumption of stainless steel amounted to 16.063 million mt, rising by 8.36 percent year on year.
