China’s rebar output rises by 13.9 percent in January-June

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, in the first six months of the current year China registered a rebar output of 82.788 million mt, up 10.129 million mt or 13.9 percent compared to the first half of last year. In the same period, China's medium plate output totaled 20.188 million mt, down 1.605 million mt or 7.4 percent year on year.

In June this year, domestic output of rebar was 3.39 million mt higher than in January this year and was up 1.718 million mt or 12.8 percent compared to June last year.
