China’s NDRC approves eight projects worth RMB 268.1 billion in Nov

In November this year, China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) approved eight projects for roads and railways, with an overall value totaling RMB 268.1 billion ($38.80 billion). The projects in question mostly involve transportation infrastructure construction in China’s central and western regions, with investment in six of the projects exceeding RMB 30 billion ($4.34 billion) in each case. In particular, investment in the Ganzhou-Shenzhen railway to be built from China’s Jiangxi Province to Guangdong Province will amount to RMB 64.1 billion ($9.28 billion), the highest investment among the eight projects.
