On May 5, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) and countervailing (CV) investigation regarding imports of certain vehicles from the US, deciding that the imports in question have resulted in material injuries to Chinese domestic industry.

The vehicles involved are sedan cars and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) with engine capacity in excess of 2.5 liters.

However, the MOC has not decided to impose any measures for the time being.

The MOC had launched its antidumping and countervailing investigation on vehicles imported from the US on November 6, 2009.
