China’s iron ore imports increase by 12.6 percent in January-February

In February this year, China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate amounted to 83.48 million mt, down 9.3 percent month on month and increasing by 13.4 percent year on year, while in the January-February period this year China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate totaled 175.343 million mt, up 12.6 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on March 8.
