China’s iron ore imports increase by 12.2 percent in Q1

In March this year, China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate amounted to 95.555 million mt, up 12.068 million mt compared to the previous month and increasing by 11.4 percent year on year, while in the January-March period this year China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate totaled 270.882 million mt, up 12.2 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
