China imported 78.57 million mt of iron ore in January this year, decreasing by 9.53 percent month on month and down 9.4 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Chinese customs authorities on February 8.
In January, China imported 1.15 million mt of finished steel, decreasing by 4.96 percent month on month, while down 14.7 percent year on year.
