China’s foreign trade value up 6.4 percent in June

In June of the current year, China's total foreign trade value amounted to $342.013 billion, indicating a year-on-year increase of 6.4 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on July 10. In the given month, the total value of China's exports amounted to $186.789 billion, up 7.2 percent, while Chinese imports totaled $155.224 billion in value, rising by 5.5 percent, both year on year, resulting in a trade surplus of $31.564 billion.

In the first half of the current year, China's foreign trade value amounted to $2.020861 trillion, up 1.2 percent, with a total export value of $1.061863 trillion, increasing by 0.9 percent, and a total import value of $958.998 billion, up 1.5 percent, all year on year. The trade surplus for the period in question was $102.865 billion.
