China’s foreign trade value down 6.9 percent in January-November

In November this year, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to $349.01 billion, indicating a month-on-month increase of 13.7 percent and a year-on-year increase of 2.9 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on December 8. In the given month, the total value of China’s exports amounted to $196.81 billion, up 10.7 percent month on month and increasing by one percent year on year, while Chinese imports totaled $152.2 billion in value, up 17.8 percent month on month and rising by 6.7 percent year on year, resulting in a trade surplus of $44.61 billion.
 
In the January-November period of the current year, China’s total foreign trade value amounted to $3.31924 trillion, down 6.9 percent year on year, while the total value of China’s exports amounted to $1.89717 trillion, down 7.5 percent, while the value of imports declined by 6.2 percent year on year to $1.42207 trillion, resulting in a trade surplus of $475.09 billion in the given period.
