China’s fixed asset investments up 17.9 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, China's total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) amounted to RMB 3.0283 trillion ($0.495 trillion), up 17.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics on March 13. In February alone, China's total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) was up 1.33 percent month on month.
 
In the first two months this year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 50.9 billion ($8.32 billion), up 10.2 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 981.3 billion ($160.3 billion), up 15.1 percent year on year.
